Ashton Russell lives in Birmingham, Alabama with her family. She holds a BA from Sweet Briar College and holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars. In her life, she has been a server, janitor, bread baker, customer service rep, administrative assistant, and IT systems technician.
